Gloria's Angel - This angel is dedicated to my very dear friend Gloria who is a survivor of breast cancer. This is her story on how her guardian angel saved her life. Gloria accompanied her sister to the hospital for a scheduled appointment. Her sister was having some routine tests done. While Gloria waited for her sister, she decided to take a nice relaxing stroll through the halls of the hospital. At the time Gloria was unaware of this, but her guardian angel guided her directly to an office that provided mammograms. She thought to herself, "what the heck, I'm here, why not schedule an appointment to have a mammogram done." They had an opening at that very moment and Gloria took it. Thinking that she could never have breast cancer, she would have waited another six months, even a year to schedule an appointment! Well, that is the day that she found out she had breast cancer. When Gloria got the bad news, she immediately knew that her guardian angel took her by the hand that day and saved her life! Gloria's breast cancer was caught in its early stages. She went through the necessary treatment to destroy the cancer cells and moved on with her life with extreme courage and a positive outlook like it was nobody's business!!! Five years later, Gloria is completely free from breast cancer. Today, Gloria is a passionate advocate and a huge supporter of breast cancer awareness and prevention.
