Bianca Rose, 2005 Bianca Rose - In memory of my niece that I've never had the opportunity to meet. She is in heaven now, watching over and protecting those she loves. --------------------------------------------------- About The Style When I create a portrait, I intentionally abstract some portion of the facial features. I do this to symbolize the uniqueness of the individual and also to give the viewer an extra sense of interest. Most features on Bianca Rose are depicted in a normal fashion, except for her chin. The chin is pointed to more of an extreme. The viewer can recognize and feel comfortable with the normal facial features, yet there is a sense of disturbance by the abstraction of the chin. This is an invitation for the viewer to be drawn into the portrait. |
