Spiritual Madness - One of my all-time favorite modern mystic motivational speakers is Dr. Caroline Myss. She is an amazing and gifted person who inspires, motivates and helps people with her messages of the spirit. In her lecture, On Spiritual Madness, Dr. Myss describes a path for the modern mystic, a way open to people from all walks of life who seek the first step toward the true mystical experience. In solitude, spiritual mystics seek to achieve freedom from the self and work to obtain unity with God through prayer and meditation. Today, spiritual seekers are faced with conflicts leading to a "dark night" unique to our age. This deep and rich "madness" is an inescapable part of the contemporary mystical journey. Her lecture was truly my inspiration for this art print.
