Anti-Smoking - My County's Health Consortium in New York held a contest for digital artists to create an anti-smoking poster. I loved the idea and entered the contest. The target audience was geared towards high school kids. Since they are busy, I wanted the poster to be short, sweet and bold. It is the type of poster that you can walk by and read without stopping. My poster won and was used for all of their anti-smoking promotional materials. They placed the poster in high schools across the entire county. They were pleased with this poster and wanted to use a second anti-smoking poster I created. Unfortunately, I was not happy with it and deleted it. Hopefully those that wanted to quit smoking were motivated to stop and for those who were thinking about smoking, were discouraged. It is a good message and doctor's have also purchased this poster for their offices.
